The Challenge: The City of Calgary sought to address the need for public shelter spaces. The city envisioned a public space solution that seamlessly integrated functionality and style. The City of Calgary needed a company to take its vision from design to build to installation.

The Solution: Hawkers' Box Parklet structures transformed city streets into inviting hubs for the community. These parklets have become a staple in various locations, from the thriving 17th Ave to the dynamic Kensington business improvement districts. Embraced by the City of Calgary, these parklets stand out as the go-to solution for curb-side public shelters.

Beyond Utility: In a unique collaboration with BUMP (Beltline Urban Murals Project), Hawkers (Box Parklets) transcend functionality to become urban art installations. Local Calgarian artists contribute custom murals, infusing the cityscape with creativity.

Year-Round Impact: These innovative designs aren't limited to seasonal use. They grace the city year-round, providing essential shelter and redefining public spaces
